You will be capable of standing for very long periods of time. At these great events footmen spend a lot of time standing and very little time sitting down.
After a period of time you may even serve the royal family themselves. The Queen’s Private Apartments at Buckingham Palace have attractive gilded ceilings, but if you have the chance to visit her Private Apartments at Windsor Castle, you’ll be privileged enough to see what is probably the most magnificent suite of Private Apartments in the world today.
